Modern E-Technologies (MET) was also represented at EU PVSEC 2025 by our colleague Algirdas Baležentis, who participated through the Smile City project.

Algirdas presented a poster titled “Thermal and Mechanical Reliability of Lightweight Photovoltaic Modules with Advanced Polymeric and Composite Materials.”

The poster focused on how advanced polymeric and composite materials can improve the durability and performance of lightweight PV modules — a crucial step toward building the next generation of solar technologies. These innovations not only extend module lifetime but also enable more efficient, versatile, and cost-effective photovoltaic solutions.

Algirdas’ expertise in PV product design and innovation continues to drive MET’s role in shaping the future of solar energy in Europe. His contributions highlight how research within the Smile City project is helping to create more sustainable, reliable, and advanced photovoltaic systems.

Participating in EU PVSEC 2025 allowed MET to strengthen international collaboration, share research results with leading PV experts, and explore new directions for sustainable energy development.
