We are proud to have hosted the 3rd Progress and General Assembly Meeting of the GreeNest Project on June 12–13, 2025, right here in the beautiful city of Vilnius, Lithuania!
Over two inspiring and productive days, we had the pleasure of welcoming our esteemed GreeNest consortium partners to MET. As a proud developer of eco-friendly BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics) solutions, we were excited to open our doors and showcase where our innovative ideas take shape — and to share our collective vision for a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
Advancing Sustainable Innovation Together
💬 Throughout 2 days of extensive sessions, partners shared progress updates, aligned on strategic next steps, and participated in engaging, forward-looking discussions aimed at accelerating the GreeNest project’s impact in the field of green building technologies, renewable energy integration, and circular construction.
We are glad to have our amazing project coordinator Prof. Maria Founti from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) to give a warm welcome and speech about comprehensive update on the project’s achievements since last meeting and outlined strategic priorities for the next phase of GreeNest.
We are deeply grateful to all our partners for their active participation, presentations, valuable insights, open collaboration, and continued dedication to innovation and sustainability. 🤝
A Tour of MET’s Smart Energy Facilities
We were also honored to give a tour to our guests at our advanced research and BIPV manufacturing facilities, giving partners a behind-the-scenes look at how we’re driving the future of solar-integrated building technologies. Partners explored our labs, showroom, and ongoing innovations, gaining a deep understanding of how MET supports the project’s ambitious sustainability goals.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm, insights, and energy — together, we’re building a greener tomorrow.
Moving Forward Together
Stay tuned for more updates as the GreeNest Project progresses toward shaping Europe’s future in green innovation, Horizon Europe research, and sustainable urban development. 🌱
