MET Showcases BIPV Innovations at IPC 2025 in Florence

Modern E-Technologies (MET) will be represented at the Integrated Photovoltaic Conference 2025 by Director Algirdas Baležentis, who will showcase Lithuania’s latest advancements in BIPV technology

Modern E-Technologies (MET) will showcase its latest Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) technologies at the Integrated Photovoltaic Conference 2025, to be held on November 25–26, 2025, at the Florence Chamber of Commerce, Italy.

Organized by the SEAMLESS-PV project, the conference will bring together European experts, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss the latest developments in solar integration, energy-active architecture, and sustainable building design.

MET Director Algirdas Baležentis will deliver a presentation titled “Implementation of Energy Active Living Environment through the Use of IPV Solutions,” highlighting trends in BIPV development across Europe and presenting Lithuania’s innovative solutions — including the “Stogas Laumė” integrated roof system and MET’s photovoltaic (PV) modules designed for sustainable and energy-efficient architecture.

The “Roof Laumė” system merges roofing and solar generation into one cohesive structure, producing clean electricity while serving as a durable building envelope. This approach supports the creation of energy-positive and carbon-neutral buildings aligned with the European Green Deal.

MET’s BIPV technologies combine high efficiency, long-term reliability, and adaptable design. Developed to meet the latest EU standards, they integrate advanced materials and modular concepts suitable for both new and retrofit projects.

Participation in the Florence conference reflects MET’s growing role in advancing European BIPV innovation and promoting Lithuanian engineering expertise in the global renewable energy market.
